Social Worker / Counsellor (Prisons)

Role:

Reporting to the Director of Specialised Services, the candidate job description includes:

  • Implement the case management services as well as plan, review and conduct support programs for the offenders in the community. He/She will be part of Specialised Services Dept and will be expected to work closely with other stakeholders and other community resources.
  • Assessment, implementation and review of the supervisees reintegration process.
  • Ensure integration of supervisees assessment and treatment services in a throughcare approach for the rehabilitation of offenders in the community.
  • Engagement and collaboration with community agencies in the provision of correctional counselling treatment services and monitoring and assessing quality of services provided.
  • Administration and co-facilitation of core and auxiliary services: (a) Co-facilitate in groupwork; and (b) Co-facilitate support groups and special events.
  • Build trust, gain confidence of clients
  • Provide casework for families and individuals
  • Demonstrate good interpersonal skills

Candidate requirements:

  • Min Degree in Social Work/Counselling/Psychology or Post-Graduate in Counselling
  • Min 2 yrs of work experience
  • Prepared to work during non-office hours
  • Comfortable to work with ex offenders and their family in the community
  • Knowledge of correctional and addictions work is an advantage
  • Ability to engage in clinical counselling & case management in consultation with core team and with community partners in rehabilitation needs of clients.

Teacher, Student Care Centre

Role:

  • Help children grow in all aspect of life, emotional, social, physical, intellectual and spiritual.
  • Supervision of daily homework and prepare students for upcoming test and examination
  • Ensure students complete their school work, assessment books and corrections.
  • Maintain regular communication with student’s parents
  • Look after children’s well-being during study, play and meal times.
  • Address classroom disciplinary issues using positive disciplinary technique
  • Ensure the safety and security of students at all times
  • Prepare and execute holiday programmes and outings as required

Human Resource Executive

Role:

  • Ensure that all HR policies, practices and initiatives are in compliance and aligned
  • Processing of payroll, OT, Allowances, CPF, work pass levy, IR8A, NS reimbursement, mandatory government surveys
  • Perform end to end recruitment process, inclusive of interview coordination, on-boarding and off-boarding activities
  • To update and maintain employee records in the HR system
  • File management to ensure all necessary documents are filed appropriately in employees’ P-Files.
  • Prepare HR related letters for employees
  • Responsible for staff training and development matters
  • Monthly HR reporting, Annual Manpower Budget
  • To assist in staff Benefits and Compensation administration

Residential Assistant

Programme Executive / Social Work Associate (KKSW)

Role:

  • Conduct needs assessment to plan and develop programmes and talks for seniors
  • Coordinate and conduct programmes for seniors in Chinese and English
  • Provide social and emotional support to the seniors through home visits, care planning and activity recommendation
  • Volunteer management including recruitment, training, deployment and retention of volunteers to support programmes of the centre
  • Liaison for internal and external stakeholder
  • Ensure proper maintenance of records (files and database) to generate reports for funded projects and programmes
  • Support in KPI tracking and proper recording of income and expenses of centre’s programmes
  • Any other ad-hoc duties assigned by supervisor
